How does the Rapid Air Fryer work?

Rapid Air technology

The Rapid Air Fryer uses a unique patented combination of high-speed air circulation, with a top grill, called Rapid Air technology. The Rapid Air technology makes the hot air circulate very rapidly around the ingredients in the basket. This heats up the ingredients in the basket from all sides at once, making it a healthy, fast and easy method to prepare tasty food. Food prepared in the Rapid Air Fryer is deliciously crispy on the outside, without being dry on the inside.

Healthy

When you air fry French fries, the fries prepared contain up to 80% less fat compared to fries prepared in a deep-fat fryer. When you prepare homemade French fries, the fat percentage can be as low as 1.5%.

How much food can I prepare in the Rapid Air Fryer?

The basket of the Rapid Air Fryer can be filled up to the ‘max’ indication in the basket. The max. amount of ingredients that can be prepared depends on the kind of food you want to prepare.

If you prepare potatoes or fries, the basket can hold up to 800 grams of home- made French fries or 700 grams of frozen fries, enough for a family of four. If large amounts of food are placed in the basket, the end result may not be even. The optimal amount of French fries that can be prepared in one go is 500 grams for both homemade and frozen fries .When preparing large amounts of fries, make sure you shake the basket at least once during the air frying process. For larger amounts it is even recommended to shake 2-3 times to help improving your results.

You can air fry up to 500 grams of small snacks at the same time. Make sure you shake halfway through the process.

When you want to air fry large snacks, meat or poultry, distribute one layer of snacks over the bottom of the basket. Make sure the bottom of the basket is not completely covered so that hot air can still circulate around the ingredients.

When you prepare stuffed vegetables, filled dough snacks or other fragile food, put one layer on the bottom of the basket. Make sure you leave enough room between the ingredients so that you can lift them out with a pair of tongs.

Why is the Rapid Air Fryer better than a conventional deep-fat fryer?

Unlike a conventional deep-fat fryer, you do not have to use frying oil in the Rapid Air Fryer to prepare tasty food.
